Training
We have a long and proud history of delivering high-quality training and professional development that responds to the needs of communities across South Australia.
As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 40142), AHCSA has delivered nationally recognised qualifications in Primary Health Care and Research since 2004, supporting our members and the broader National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health network. We are committed to providing a culturally safe and supportive learning environment that reflects our organisational values and strong community connections. AHCSA’s purpose-built Simulated Learning Environment (SLE) replicates a real clinical setting, enabling students to practise and be assessed in primary health care and clinical skills in an authentic, hands-on context. This innovative approach enhances clinical capability, builds confidence, and strengthens workforce capacity.
We work closely with community, industry, and partner organisations to ensure our programs remain relevant, responsive, and aligned with current sector needs. Training and assessment are delivered by qualified and experienced educators who provide personalised support throughout each student’s learning journey, fostering both professional competence and personal growth.
Our courses provide practical skills, real-world experience, and dedicated support to help students build rewarding careers and make a positive impact in communities across South Australia and beyond.
