The AHCSA Sexual Health team is excited to announce the release of this resource for clinical staff, which aims to support testing for sexually-transmitted infections.

These important checks are recommended at least yearly for clients in the 16-35 year old age group.

This short video takes us through a consultation between a health worker and a client, in order to demonstrate:

• Some reasons why an STI screen (check-up for someone without symptoms) is needed
• Key information to explain to the client
• How to enter necessary information into Communicare
• Use of the resources that are available for workers and clients
