We are pleased to present AHCSA’s 2024-25 Annual Report.

This year’s report stands as a testament to the hard work, shared achievements, and ongoing collaboration among our members, Aboriginal communities, and key stakeholders across South Australia.

As the peak body for Aboriginal health and wellbeing in this state, our commitment remains unchanged: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have the right to self-determination, culturally safe care, and genuine participation in health decisions that shape their lives. The stories, data, and highlights shared in this report reflect the strength and resilience of our communities, and the dedication of our member services to delivering high-quality, culturally respectful care.

Over the past year, we’ve made significant progress – advocating for a culturally safe and effective system, including appropriate funds and resources for the sector to continue delivering high-quality comprehensive primary healthcare.

We recognise there is more work ahead, and our determination is stronger than ever. We remain focused on improving outcomes, growing our workforce, and ensuring Aboriginal voices are heard in every conversation about health and wellbeing across South Australia.

We invite all our members, stakeholders, and wider Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to read the 2024-25 Annual Report. Together, we celebrate our progress and reaffirm our ongoing commitment to the health and wellbeing of our people.

Thank you for walking this journey with us.
