Port Lincoln Aboriginal Health Service provides culturally safe primary healthcare for Aboriginal people in the Eyre Peninsula, with GPs, nurses, allied health staff, Cancer Support Officer and Health Promotion Officer supporting people across the cancer journey. Bulk billed services include health checks, women’s health including cervical screening promotion, chronic disease management, and referrals for specialist assessment and treatment. The service also provides care coordination and support for people travelling outside the region for cancer treatment, along with social and emotional wellbeing support for individuals and families.
