Canteen Australia provides free support services to young people aged 12–25 who are impacted by cancer. Its services support young people whether they have cancer themselves or are caring for or grieving a family member affected by cancer. Support includes counselling, peer connection programs, online communities, educational resources and practical assistance. Canteen also offers culturally responsive support and works to ensure services are safe and welcoming for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, recognising the importance of connection to family, culture and community during a cancer experience.
