Aboriginal Cancer Care Coordinators support Aboriginal people and their families throughout their cancer journey. Working across the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Glenside Health Services, Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre and the Repat Health Precinct, the coordinators provide culturally sensitive care and help patients navigate the health system, understand treatment plans, access support services and stay connected to family, community and culture. They work closely with surgeons, medical oncologists, specialist nurses and other health professionals to ensure care is coordinated and responsive. Click here for more information.
