The Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health and Wellbeing Hub includes Aboriginal Health Practitioners and Aboriginal Cultural Support Officers who ensure care is culturally appropriate and supports improved health outcomes. Although The Hub is loacted at Royal Adelaide Hospital, it works with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients across Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) sites including Royal Adelaide Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre and Repat Health Precinct. The service also provides a welcoming space for patients and families, with access to computers, telephones and referrals to community services to support connection to home and community.
