Mooditj is a comprehensive resilience, relationships and sexual health program designed for young Aboriginal people aged 10-15 years. Designed in WA, the purpose of the program is to help build strong young Aboriginal people who can have strong healthy relationships and make positive and informed choices about their sexual health wellbeing.
SHINE SA, led by Holly Fazulla, connected with the Mooditj team and brought them to South Australia for a four-day training session hosted by AHCSA at its offices in Adelaide.
This week facilitators Shania Eddy and Jye Walker presented engaging and informative sexual health content to a diverse group of program coordinators, nurses/midwives, teachers, youth workers, and many others. The sessions were specifically tailored to address the unique needs of young mob.
The content covered a wide range of topics related to sexual health, providing valuable insights and knowledge to all participants. It was a remarkable opportunity to empower and educate our community on important aspects of sexual health and well-being.
