30 June 2022
National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July every year, celebrating and recognising the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures, histories and to participate in celebrations of the oldest continuous living culture on earth, giving everyone the opportunity to get to know their local Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander communities.
Across South Australia, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in both metro and rural areas, with local councils, community groups and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations hosting events, workshops and more for the local community.
We have compiled some of the events happening around the state and some of the best spots to find out more information.
If you would like further information about the listed events, please hit the link on each location.
Enjoy!
