Employee Benefits

Diversity and Inclusion

We are dedicated to creating a culture of diversity, inclusion and equality. We recognise that honesty, fairness and mutual respect are fundamental to creating a workplace free from any form of discrimination, bullying or harassment.

We are an Aboriginal community controlled organisation, committed to promoting cultural diversity based on trust, respect and appreciation.

Professional Development

Our employees are our greatest asset and we are committed to supporting you and developing your skills through training and career opportunities. We encourage you to study, train and participate in conferences or seminars. We believe in empowering our people to reach their full potential.

Health and Wellbeing

Our office closes between Christmas and New Year, offering you five days of paid leave in addition to Annual Leave. You also receive 15 days of personal leave.

Upon commencement, you may access a Leave Bank which combines personal and annual leave which can be used for either annual, personal or other leave.

We believe in finding strength in connection to family, to colleagues and peers and to community. We encourage our staff to attend religious, cultural or ceremonial events even if these require their absence from work. For example, the National Apology Day, Reconciliation Week, NAIDOC Week etc.

We support flexible working arrangements where possible to allow you to better balance your work and life commitments.

Rewards and Recognition

We have salary sacrificing arrangements in place.

We appreciate our staff’s loyalty to AHCSA and their contribution to the health community sector in general through the celebration of their years of service.
