Sessional Educators are being sought for casual clinical and non-clinical education within the Primary Health Care qualifications.

Located in Adelaide, the Aboriginal Health Council of SA Inc. (AHCSA) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled health organisation governed by an Aboriginal Board. AHCSA is a membership based peak body with a leadership, watchdog, advocacy and sector support role, and a commitment to Aboriginal self-determination. It is the health voice for Aboriginal people across South Australia, representing the expertise, needs and aspirations of Aboriginal communities at both state and national levels based on a holistic perspective of health.

External expressions of interest are being sought for a sessional Educator, in AHCSA’s Education Training and Workforce Team (ETWT).

AHCSA’s Registered Training Organisation (RTO) provides a range of accredited training programs.

The ETWT contribute to AHCSA’s vision of the development of a well-qualified and trained Aboriginal health sector workforce. In addition they help build the capacity of the AHCSA membership to create a strong and enduring Aboriginal community controlled health sector, and contribute to improving the capacity of mainstream health services to respond appropriately to the health needs of the Aboriginal community of SA.

The Sessional Educator contributes to this vision through the provision of quality vocational education and training programs. This position is responsible for the development and delivery of training programs and assessment activities while providing the highest standards of customer service and maximising the experience of AHCSA students.
